Gift of LOVE

This tote bag is made for an elder who had been servicing faithfully in Christ by taking of the little ones during Sunday worship so that the parents could attend the worship without worry. A Big Thank to U!

Appreciation Gifts

Another batch of bags in shape - square. This batch of bags are not with interfacing but fully lining. The special part is that the zipper. Not the normal zipper but zipper with small metal balls in golden. The bags are with triangular edges, unlike the previous batch that are with rounded edges. I was delighted when the first owner told me that she found this bag came useful when she went for marketing and shopping.

Bags Tree

Christmas is round the corner. My girl had set up the Christmas Tree at our house. Here I have a "BAGS" tree ...... with 6 mini rectangular lunch bags. They are the Christmas gifts for my sister's colleagues. They are fully interfaced with lining and zips as well. I personally like the owl fabric very much. It looks very sweet.

Black & White vs Pink & White

The SEA game is on now. My game is also on...... black & white verse pink & white. I mean these tissue holders that I made as Christmas gifts. Both fabric look great to me. I wonder how will their owners feel when they have the tissue holders in hand? I always try to imagine the smiling faces of the owners when I am making those stuffs. Why? Because I hope my stuffs bring joys and love to them.

Who won the badminton match?

The bunnies are having a wonderful match on these two tote bags. They are my 6th & 7th tote bags. From the embroider letters, can you guess the sex of the owners? Well...... the owners are two handsome boys : -). I was told that they need  extra bags for their music books as the present ones are not in good conditions. Hope the boys will have a wonderful time with the bunnies in their badminton match.

L-zip pouch

A BIG thank to my sister's colleague who gave me the opportunity to try out a L-zip pouch for her handphone. The new fabric "I love Gardening" was chosen to make the pouch. This pouch had the D-ring cum rounded hook, adjustable from the side to the zipper. Of course, it was fully lined exterior and interior with interfacing. Hope she like it!

Pouches from the leftover

These 5" pouches are made from the leftover fabric after the making of bags. They are fully interfaced and lined. Which one do you prefer? The blue one or the patched one? Both looked sweet and cool to me.

Lunch time again!!

Two more lunch bags are ready for collection. This time, these two lunch bags are fully interfaced and with full lining too. Both bags are in rectangular shape (26cm X 18cm) with zips. This round, I tried to machine sew the handles, narrow them down for easy handling. The thickness of the bags are sufficient for long wallets, handphones, even small umbrellas etc. Click to see more : )

Mini bag

This mini bag is fully lined without interface. The size is 21cm (L) X 21cm (H). There is no pocket in the main compartment. Just a simple mini bag for office ladies to carry along during their lunch break if they do not want to bring along their big bags. Do you like it?

Jingle, jingle, go my coins...

For the first time, I done a machine quilted on this Yuwa fabric. Because I used a light colour thread, therefore the quilted pattern was not that obvious. The purpose of this pouch was to carry coins around. So, jingle, jingle, go my coins! I matched a light blue zip to this fabric, giving a soft feeling.

Sling bag with keyboard

Here is a sling bag with keyboard sew on the flap. There is a zip for the main compartment that comes with a pocket. I like the design of the fabric that gives an old European style. It reminds me of the Ryoal Family too. The white curling  flowers are so sweet.  This is the first time I inserted a zip for a sling bag that with flap by hand. A bit tough cos the pooking of needle into the fully interfaced bag made my finger feeling a bit pain and numb. Anway, I felt teriffic when the bag was completed.

Spot the differences

I had made these two tote bags seperately in August and early September. Can you spot the differences between them from the pictures? Clues: the music notes, the fabrics used and the zipper! Both owners prefer to have zips for their totes. One tote has the triangular side while the other has a rectangular side when they are view from their sides. I did the zips differently for both totes. One with the zip machined directly on the opening before folded. The other had its zip attached when the tote bag was completed.  Enjoy your viewing... Good day :)

One little, two liitle, three little elephants ......

When I let my sunday school helpers to choose the letter holders for their Teachers' Day gifts, most of them asked the same question: "Why choose? I thought they are the same!" Hahaha, dears, when you take a closer look, there is a BIG difference. The same pink elephant but with different decorations. Some are with flowers while some are with music notes. I think it will be quite funny if I have a game on "Spot the differences" for these letter holders that I made. What a great idea!!

Another challenge

For the first-time, I make such a big shoulder bag. I had been thinking about the design and how to attach all the parts together for a couple of weeks before I started this BIG challenge. The final product turned out a bit different from my thought - the zip part. It looked nicer and more neat after I enclosed the edge of both ends and sides. I especially added extra hard interface for the base so that the bag can carry heavier items such as water bottle and books. The bag looked like patched work but it is not. It is the original fabric that looks like this. This is also the first bag I done with so many pockets - two opened pockets and one zipped pocket in the main compartment and two pockets in front, total five pockets. Can you guess the length of the zip I used? It is an 20' inches zip in black. Waa... glad I can complete this BIG challenge. Praise The Lord!

Letter Holder

I always want to make a letter holder myself. So, I came up with this one, stitching the pinky lamb and clouds on the felt and paste the tiny decorations bought from Dasio. Jie Xin remarks was "there is a pretty one!" Heehee... This letter holder can be treated as a door decor as well if you do not want to put letter into it. Coming up with more designs......

Black, Blue, Red, Purple... which one you want?

New products are out. Leisure bags with four colours: 1) black with white flowers, 2) blue with sliver strips, 3) red with golden prints and finally 4) squarish purple red. These bags are fully lining with hard oval base. There is a rectangular pocket in each bag's main compartment that can take in tissue packet, handphone, EZ link .... etc. I started using one of these bags when I shopped for grocery. What I carried with me in it were umbrella (very auntie), a small bottle of water, tissue paper, purse of course keys and EZ link.... see... this bag can surely take up at least five items... So what are you waiting for? Order one now while stocks avaliable... Click on the picture to see more..

DO RI ME

Do Ri Me ...... do you like music? I do like music especially classic music. When I started this piece of work, I wondered how to draw nice and correct music notes?? Good thing was that my Jie Xin voluntarily drew a sample for me, so that I was able to complete the embroidery. Black and white are the basic colours for the piano keyboard. Jie Xin could tell immediately that I was sewing piano keyboard before the whole thing was done. This time, I finished the tote bag with cotten webbing handles and light interfacing for the whole tote. I named this tote "DO RI ME" because of the piano keyboard. Click on it to see more ......

When Bunny found iits LOVE!!!!

Finally, Bunny found its LOVE!! Another two water bottle holders for two sweet sisters below seven. The elder one chose the fabric with pink heart-shape, while the young one chose the "Bunny" fabric. This time, both straps were made from the same cotten fabric instead of the black cotten strap. The black strap for my girl's holder was cut off from her previous spoiled water bottle. These holders' base were interfacing with hard material and also attached with stoppers.  Hope both sweety like them! :-) Click on the picture to see more......

I love Yuwa

This Yuwa fabric is from Japan. I used it for a bible holder. Actually, the bible itself already has a hard cover with a zip. My sis-in-Christ wanted a holder for it, so I came up with a rectangular shape bag, fully interfaced with two handles at the opening. The textile of the Yuwa is so soft that I can't help touching again and again. It gives a cool and sweet feeling. The holder can also be used as little causal shopping bag. Click to see more!

Bunny, Bunny... Did you see my water bottle?

Yes! Of course, I found your water bottle that was in  "ME" the bottle holder. The water bottle holder was with a round base interfaced only and the top is with a stopper plus a thin black reused sling. Do not lost it again!!!

Another Sling Bag

This time, the sling bag, fully interfaced is specially made for my BAOBEI~Jie Xin. Surprisingly, she chose this blue fabric herself and required the laces to be added in front. I thought she might wanted the Bunny fabric but she chose this instead. Anyway,  her name was also embroidered on the flap. The flap was also secured with a magnet. The sling was with a plastic tri-slider, so that Jie Xin could adjust the length according to her comfortability. First time, I tried out the sling on the slider and also inserting the magnet. Quite fun I must say..... As usual, I inserted an exterior pocket in the main apartment. Click on it for more .....

Twins Sling Bags

Woo... very cool.... going shopping with these two small sling bags. These two sling bags are for two pretty and cute sisters aged three and five. Both have the same design so I do some embroidery; sew their names on the bags for identification, so that they will not mix their bags up. Lace is for the decoration on the external pocket. The sling is at loose end so their mother can adjust the length for them accordingly. Click on it for more ......

"Be kind, believe, care..."

"Be kind, believe, care..." these words can be found on this custom-made shoulder bag. This fabric is bought from Spotlight, one of the products from Kelly Mueller. Lace is added on for the big pocket outside supported by velcro for easily opening. The two handles are also with hard interfacing for better suppport. There are two small pockets in the main compartment as usual for handy items. It is fully with light interfacing as the owner tells me that she wishes this bag can carry a small bottle of water and a book as well. So hope the interfacing can give a stronger support. A butterfly zipper pull is attached too. Click on the picture for more ......

My FIRST tote bag

Finally, my FIRST tote bag is out. My girl is very excited about it and already book this bag for next year schooling use. This tote bag is made from cotten linen, fully interfaced with linen handles. Look at the fabric... is doll, washed clothings, bears hanging on the washing line. I used red and white tiny squared fabric for the interior compartment, adding on two pockets for putting tissue papers, keys, EZ link card for easy access. I really sweat when sewing on the linen handles cos afraid that my needle will break. Good thing that it went on smoothly. Looking forward for more tote bags to be done in different ways. All the best to ME!
